Antoons is an Oakland staple.
The pizza is good after a night out. I found myself here a few days ago. And wow is it still the same. The beauty of this place is explained in a few reasons. First, it is cheap, it is only $6.42 for a large cheese pizza. Second, they are efficient it is amazing how quick they can push out these pizzas late at night. Third, the portion is generous. While not the greatest pizza i've had its worth a visit. -

Dumb cheap, literally JUST drunk pizza. Don't expect to sit down inside. Cashiers are friendly and will have fun talking to you as you slur every other word.

The employees are so so nice there and were talkative. The pizza is more average but it's understandable considering the price is awesome. Great for budget pizza. I will continue to go for pizza after drinks. The pizza we got was cheese with mushrooms and we added red pepper flakes. the red pepper flakes here seemed somehow spicer than the ones i have at home-different brand i guess!

Went pick up two specials . Six dollar large pizza . Wait out side to get in because there's a line of people . When the people leave I walk in . A worker asks what I would like I answer . Another worker says I'm done now come back tomorrow. As I walk outside they turn off the open sign and dim the lights . They were just rude about it .

$6 for a large cheese pizza and open until 2:00 AM. (Anyone remember when it used to be $5?!)
I found myself here after a friend's 21st spent getting her horns at Peter's Pub. It was a Sunday, other bars were closed, Sorrento's, and Mcdonalds were too!
Pitt students will have their biases to either Antoon's or Sorrento's, but I'll let you be the judge of that.. their pies are the same price. It was an awfully cold winter night, so I could complain about the no seating from Antoon's, but their extremely fast service makes up for it. If it weren't so cold outside, that pizza wouldn't have lasted our walk to our dining spot as we probably would have eaten it on the spot.
Don't forget the ranch.
